3:00 PM - Adamson vs. Ateneo (Men's)

Ateneo de Manila University looks to get a proper winning streak going when they face off against Adamson University in the UAAP Season 81 Men's Football Tournament, Sunday at the FEU-Diliman Football Field in Quezon City.

After a rough start that saw them collect a draw and two losses in their first three matches, Ateneo bounced back in impressive fashion, dismantling University of Santo Tomas, 5-0, led by a brace from star striker Jarvey Gayoso. Now, the Blue Eagles try to make to two in a row against the Soaring Falcons.

While already off to their best start in years with three draws, Adamson has yet to notch a win this season, and they hope to be able to do so against the Blue Eagles. The re-energized Soaring Falcons are coming off a 1-1 draw against University of the East last Sunday.

Ateneo and Adamson kick off at 3:00 PM.

Speaking of University of the East, the semifinals-hunting Red Warriors are looking to keep their momentum going as they take on the struggling UST Growling Tigers.

Currently sitting at the third seed with seven points, UE hopes to be able to stay the course and secure their spot in the top half of the standings.

After a very strong opening-day performance, the Growling Tigers seem to have faltered a bit, recording three straight draws and then their first loss of the season against Ateneo last Thursday.

With the standings tightening up, a win will be crucial for both UE and UST moving forward.

UE and UST face off at 9:00 AM.

Also looking to bounce back is defending champions University of the Philippines, who meets Far Eastern University.

The Fighting Maroons suffered their first loss of the season, and their first loss since the semifinals of UAAP Season 79 when they fell to De La Salle, 2-1, Thursday. Hungry and determined to show that they're still the favorites this season, UP will try to get back on track at the expense of a surging FEU side.

Currently at second place, the FEU Tamaraws are enjoying a significant turnaround from last season's dismal campaign. While there's still a long way to go, the Tamaraws are showing a level of confidence that they didn't have last year, and are looking to continue their winning ways against the defending champions.

UP and FEU clash at 1:00 PM.
