Justine Dorog (middle, #13) was rushed to the hospital before the Battle of Katipunan.
UPDATE 3:30pm: Coach Godfrey Okumu confirms Justine Dorog will return to the FilOil Flying V Arena after suffering a bout with dysmenorrhea, but is a game-time decision.
Just before their big match against the Ateneo Lady Eagles, UP Lady Maroons wing spiker Justine Dorog was rushed to the hospital after suffering from menstrual cramps.
Dorog had been bleeding and was needed to be stretchered out of the FilOil Flying V Centre dugout due to the illness.
When asked what happened, UP head coach Godfrey Okumu downplayed the severity of her illness and even indicated that she might return just in time for the Battle of Katipunan at 4pm, to be aired LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A, LIGA, livestream, and the iWant app.
"Nothing. Just stress. Just normal. She'll be fine. Don't worry about her, she'll just be fine. I hope she'll be able to come back. I hope she gets some rest," clarified Okumu.
