 Bulldogs hunt for at least a semis advantage playoff
National University tries to secure at least a playoff for a Final Four twice-to-beat advantage.

Defending champion National University seeks to secure at least a playoff for a twice-to-beat advantage in the UAAP Season 81 men’s volleyball Final Four on Sunday against De La Salle University at the Big Dome.

The semis-bound Bulldogs march into battle at 8:00 a.m., bringing in the momentum of their nine-game winning streak.

Action will be available via livestream.

NU sports a 9-1 win-loss record at solo top spot. The Bulldogs defeated the Green Spikers in the first round.

DLSU holds a 4-6 slate and is coming off a straight sets win over University of the East last week.

Meanwhile, Far Eastern University tries to formally punch a ticket in the semis for the second time in its 10:00 a.m. encounter with the University of the East.

The game will air live on LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and via livestream.

The Tamaraws failed to take the second semis spot last Wednesday after absorbing a five-set upset at the hands of Adamson University.

FEU is at second spot with an 8-2 slate.

The also-ran Red Warriors are at seventh spot with a 2-8 card and reeling from a three-game slide.
