UAAP Football: UP targets crucial win against FEU

Defending champions University of the Philippines will try to keep themselves firmly in the Final Four picture as they take on top-seeded Far Eastern University in the UAAP Season 81 Men's Football Tournament, Sunday afternoon at the FEU Diliman Football Field in Quezon City.

Currently at fourth place in the standings with 20 points, the Fighting Maroons have a chance to overtake DLSU in the 3-seed, as well as distance themselves from fifth-seeded UST with a win. 

FEU meanwhile, would like to secure their spot at the top. Currently at 24 points, the Tamaraws are one point in front of second-seeded Ateneo.

In the morning matchup, Ateneo de Manila will try to surge into the top seed when they battle University of the East. 

More than just a shot at the top of the standings, the Blue Eagles are also looking for some payback after being dealt an early season loss by the Red Warriors.

UE meanwhile, is just looking to finish the season strong, and another win over Ateneo would be a high note to end the season on.
