UAAP: Lady Spikers not dwelling on sorry loss to Lady Tams

There will be no training right after a loss for La Salle this time around
All De La Salle University needed to do to get the second-seed in the UAAP 81 Women's Volleyball Tournament was to win its last elimination round assignment on Sunday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
Only, Far Eastern University had other plans.
Rallying from two sets down, the Lady Tamaraws frustrated the Lady Spikers with a five-set win.
The win, technically, didn't do anything for FEU as it was already locked into the fourth-seed opposite top-seed and twice-to-beat Ateneo de Manila University.
On the other hand, the loss sent La Salle to a virtual best-of-three up against University of Sto. Tomas.
Of course, the green and white would have wanted there to be no more complications.
"Malaking bagay sana yun, pero ganun talaga. Pagdating ng Wednesday game, kailangang maghanda," head coach Ramil De Jesus told reporters post-game.
He then continued, "Yun yung importante. Kailangan nilang paghirapan talaga kung gusto nilang umabot sa Finals."
Indeed, it wasn't meant to be and the Taft-based team will not have to turn its attention to a playoff for the second-seed and twice-to-beat in just three days.
That is exactly why, this time around, the Lady Spikers won't be headed for a training session. "Ngayon, wala (nang training). 'Di ko naman sila masyadong pinagalitan," their mentor shared.
He the continued, "Ni-remind ko na lang sila kasi ayoko nang dalhin pa nila yung pagkatalo sa Wednesday. Sabi ko, kailangan na lang matuto kung ano yung mali natin."
Several times before, Coach RDJ has had his girls go straight to the Enrique Razon Sports Center in Manila and get right back to work following losses.
Now, though, the multi-titled mentor wants nothing more than for his girls to get both their mind and body right. "Sabi ko nga sa kanila, wag nilang isipin yung pagkatalo ngayon kasi mahirap kung dadalhin mo pa sa Wednesday kung ano yung result nitong game," he said.
He then continued, "Hindi naman pangit lahat ng nangyari. May mga pangit na desisyon, may maganda rin namang ginawa yung mga bata so sabi ko, ano yung mga maling desisyon na dapat nating iayos? Yun yung dapat nating i-correct sa Wednesday."
