Far Eastern University rookie France Ronquillo showed grace under pressure to help the Lady Tamaraws force a decider in the UAAP Season 81 women's volleyball Final Four.

With their season hanging in the balance, Far Eastern University rookie France Ronquillo trooped to the service line with much pressure on her shoulders.

The freshman showed grace under pressure as she played an important role in the Lady Tamaraws’ fifth set rally that paved the way for FEU’s 10-25, 25-23, 25-22, 12-25, 15-8, escape on Saturday to force a decider in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball Final Four at the MOA Arena.

Ronquillo was on the service line when FEU sparked the pivotal 6-0 scoring barrage that broke a 7-7 deadlock in the fifth set for a 13-7 lead.

Ronquillo kept a steady hand on her serve, hitting her mark and playing good defense at the back line. She even scored an ace to push FEU’s lead to 12-7.

Basta 'di siya mag-outside o mag not over, mapasok ko lang," she said.

Parang mas nag-gain ako ng morale na lumaban pa po,” said Ronquillo, who scored seven points with two coming off aces.

The open spiker came off the bench in the opening set before starting in the next four frames.

Ronquillo and the rest of the Lady Tams will play the Lady Eagles in a winner-take-all match on Wednesday.
