UST great Ravena says Rondina just on another level
Mozzy Ravena says there is nothing anybody can do if Sisi Rondina sets her heart and mind to something

Sisi Rondina, put simply, imposed her will on Ateneo de Manila University last Saturday.

And in the process, she willed University of Sto. Tomas into taking Game 1 of the UAAP 81 Women's Volleyball Finals.

For veteran analyst Mozzy Ravena, herself a volleyball great, that willpower from MVP Rondina is nothing but bad news for her opponents. "Ang greatest fear ko is pag nakikita ko kay Sisi yung Itsura niya, yung gustong-gusto niyang manalo, yun ang nakakatakot kasi kahit blocking, hindi ma-stop yun," she said.

She then continued, "Kahit sobrang galing na libero, hindi rin ma-stop yun kasi yung want niya, iba."

In the championship round's opener, Rondina, by her lonesome, almost matched the Lady Eagles’ spikes, 20-24.

That in itself was more than enough proof that, for Ateneo to come back, they must first solve the problem posed by the Golden Tigresses' small but terrible weapon. "Nasa ibang level yung bata. Hindi mo masabi na ganito yung pwedeng gawin kay Sisi kasi hindi e, parang kahit mag-triple block ka, you can tire her, but you can't tire her heart," Ravena said.

She then continued, "Yun ang mahirap na kalaban, yung ganyan."

And with Rondina churning to the best of her abilities, all of Espana has become a well-oiled machine. "Everyone else is working because of that. Lahat gumagana na dahil kay Sisi. Everybody's contributing to the team," the veteran analyst said.

Ravena's daughter Dani and the rest of the Lady Eagles try to stay alive against the MVP's onslaught in Game 2 of the Finals on Wednesday.

Game time is at 4:00 p.m. and will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and via livestream.
