Already glittering with all the gold it has hauled in for the year, Nazareth School of National University has its sights set on another championship in the 2019 Asean School Games.
Of course, showing the way for the Bullpups will be national youth team players Gerry Abadiano, Terrence Fortea, and Carl Tamayo in the regional meet running from July 17 to 25 in Indonesia.
Just like in their title runs in the UAAP Jrs., NBTC, and Palarong Pambansa, the three will be backstopped by post presence Kevin Quiambao, two-way guard Ernest Felicilda, versatile forward Reyland Torres, and young guns Harold Alarcon and Steve Nash Enriquez.
Still at the helm of Team Philippines backed by Freego and Oriental Group of Companies is multi-titled mentor Goldwin Monteverde.
The final lineup of NU, the defending champions in the Asean School Games, is rounded out by Aaron Buensalida, Jeffry Mailim, and Menard Songcuya.
The Bullpups stand with Singapore and Indonesia in Group A while Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam make up Group B.
Team Philippines first match in the regional meet is on Saturday against Indonesia and it wraps up its assignments in the group stages by taking on Singapore the day after.
