NU has now won the last two Asean School Games basketball tournaments
For the second time in three days, Nazareth School of National University faced off with home team Indonesia in the 2019 Asean School Games.
And for the second time in three days, the Bullpups imposed their will on the Indonesians for a resounding 100-51 rout, Tuesday inside the GOR Sahabat in Semarang, Indonesia.
Terrence Fortea remained red-hot with 32 points in efficient 11-of-18 shooting in just 23 minutes of action.
All but two of the super scorer's output came from behind the arc, the same area where Gerry Abadiano made good on three treys.
Abadiano wound up with 11 points while Ernest Felicilda, another guard, also added 13 markers, seven assists, and three rebounds.
That was more than enough for the kings of the UAAP Jrs. to defend their crown in the regional tournament.
Team Philippines, supported by Freego and Oriental Group of Companies, had also silenced home team Indonesia in the opener last Sunday.
Next year, NU will be gunning for a three-peat back home in Dumaguete.
