Behind Ahanmisi, Adamson's youth will be on full display
Jerrick Ahanmisi and Jerom Lastimosa will be the engine and the fuel in Adamson's drive to the Final Four and beyond

HOW’D THEY DO LAST SEASON? 10-4, second-seed, lost to third-seed UP in Final Four

YES, THEY’RE STILL HERE: Jerrick Ahanmisi, Simon Camacho, Jerom Lastimosa, Egie Boy Mojica,

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY: Valandre Chauca, Lenda Douanga, Aaron Fermin, Aaron Flowers, Joem Sabandal, Joshua Yerro

GOOD LUCK ON FUTURE ENDEAVORS: Jonathan Espeleta, Sean Manganti, Koko Pingoy, Papi Sarr

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM ADAMSON?

For the first time, Adamson will now be, without a doubt, Jerrick Ahanmisi’s team.

Because both Papi Sarr and Sean Manganti are Soaring Falcons no more, Ahanmisi is now the lone leading man for the blue and white.

As such, San Marcelino will now be the fourth year gunslinger’s show to run.

Making up his supporting cast will be team captain Simon Camacho and court general Jerom Lastimosa who will slot into the now-vacated spots of Manganti and Koko Pingoy, respectively.

Those three are definitely not alone, though, as Adamson boasts of one of the deepest teams in the league stacked with prized prospects who are nothing but determined to make an immediate impact.

WHO IS/ARE THE PLAYER/S TO WATCH OUT FOR FROM ADAMSON?

Just about everybody knows that Ahanmisi can score. Now as the, in essence, face of the franchise, however, he will also be called upon to round out his game and, in that way, make his teammates better.

At the same time, both Camacho and Lastimosa will also be expected to make good on the bigger roles they now have moving forward.

The good news is, in the preseason, all of Ahanmisi, Camacho, and Lastimosa proved to be more than capable new pillars of Adamson’s continued contention.

Even better? Their rotation is as deep as it has ever been with all Valandre Chauca, Aaron Fermin, Joem Sabandal, and Joshua Yerro more than confident they can make noise in their first season.

WHY SHOULD WE ROOT FOR ADAMSON?

Adamson will always be in the game because of head coach Franz Pumaren and his time-tested system.

That means that each and every Soaring Falcons’ game has a good shot at being a good game – and who doesn’t love a good game?

Even better, if Chauca, Fermin, Sabandal, and Yerro pan out, this year will be the year that the upstart school can prove, once and for all, that it is now, indeed, a destination for blue-chip recruits.

WHERE WOULD ADAMSON BE AT THE END OF UAAP SEASON 82?

Not only is Adamson a playoff contender, it’s actually a championship contender in UAAP Season 82.

With undisputed top gun Ahanmisi, rising stars Camacho and Lastimosa, and a cache full of rookies waiting to make an immediate impact, the Soaring Falcons will be a problem for all of the league.

WHEN IS ADAMSON’S FIRST GAME IN UAAP SEASON 82?

Adamson takes on defending champion Ateneo to start the season anew on September 4 at Araneta Coliseum.

Of course, everybody goes All for More and, as always, all of the action will be on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and livestream.
