Grace Irebu continues to set the standard in terms of individual performances in the UAAP 82 Women's Basketball Tournament.
After the first round, University of Sto. Tomas' Congolese center is on pace for back-to-back MVP awards with 95.57 Statistical Points (SPs).
Irebu's league-leading per game counts of 25.6 points and 14.6 rebounds, coupled with her spearheading of the Tigresses' surge to solo second with a 5-2 standing, granted her a five-point cushion on her biggest rival for the top individual award.
That biggest rival is Mar Prado of Adamson University who has accumulated 90.14 SPs with one more round to go.
The Lady Falcons' do-it-all wing is averaging 25.0 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.7 steals, and 2.0 assists, all while leading her team to a respectable record at 4-3.
Completing the top five are the National University power pairing of Jack Danielle Animam and Rhena Itesi who have 75.57 and 74.29 SPs, respectively, and then Far Eastern University's inside force Clare Castro who has 71.71 SPs.
