The 2019 UAAP Cheerdance Competition is just around the corner.

With only days to go before the 25th iteration of what has become one of the most awaited events in the UAAP calendar, it’s high time for all of us to refresh our memory of how things went down a year ago.

The NU Pep Squad claimed its fifth championship in the last six years with a routine inspired by the Pixar-animated film Coco.

The FEU Cheering Squad then seized second-place thanks to their five-minute homage to the 70s.

Ranked third was the Adamson Pep Squad which performed a number based on Disney’s Lion King.

Just missing out on the podium was the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe.

The UE Pep Squad then followed at fifth.

The UP Pep Squad had to settle for sixth this time around.

Finally climbing out of the cellar at seventh was the Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion.

Dropped to last-place was then the DLSU Animo Squad.
