National University’s bid for back-to-back titles in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition will come at the tail end of the Season 82 edition of the event.

The NU Pep Squad drew the no. 8 ball in the CDC’s first-ever pre-event press conference, Wednesday at MOA Arena.

That meant that the winners of five of the last six championships will perform last among the eight teams on November 17 at MOA Arena.

Second placer Far Eastern University Cheering Squad and third placer Adamson University Pep Squad, meanwhile, got fifth and sixth, respectively.

Front and center first is De La Salle University’s Animo Squad which hopes to climb out of the cellar.

Following suit is the University of the East Pep Squad, the University of the Philippines Pep Squad, and the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Babble Battalion.

Right before NU at seventh in the order will then be University of Sto. Tomas Salinggawi Dance Troupe, the winningest team in the history of the event alongside UP.
