Nazareth School of National University showed its might anew, Saturday at Paco Arena and struck down De La Salle Zobel, 86-57.

The Bullpups' bigs dominated with Carl Tamayo pounding in 11 points and seven rebounds in just 19 minutes and Kevin Quiambao pumping in 10 markers and 10 boards in 21 minutes.

Rookie Jimmy Lantaya also played big off the bench with 13 points and six rebounds as the blue and gold had no problems whatsoever for their fourth win in as many games.

The same can't be said for Ateneo de Manila High School which fell victim to erstwhile winless University of the East, 80-81.

Newbie Cyrus Austria stole the show with 26 points and four rebounds as the Red Warriors staked claim to their first win in four games.

More impressively, he outdueled Blue Eaglet Forthsky Padrigao in the endgame.

Padrigao still wound up with 28 points, six steals, and five rebounds, but that was all for naught as Ateneo succumbed to a 2-2 standing.

That allowed Far Eastern University-Diliman to charge into solo second after it dispatched of the University of the Philippines Integrated School, 67-56.

Penny Estacio stuffed the stat sheet with 20 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and three steals while Patrick Sleat also added 13 markers and seven boards.

Forging a four-way tie for third is Adamson High School which got the better of University of Sto. Tomas, 69-62.

John Erolon showed the Soaring Falcons the way to a 2-2 record with 24 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

The Tiger Cubs, also sporting the same slate, were fronted by Jacob Cortez who had 14 points and six rebounds.

John Dalisay topped the scoring column for DLSZ with 24 points. They and the Blue Eagles round out the four-team logjam.
