Looking for a better showing in UAAP Season 82 women’s volleyball tournament, the Adamson University Lady Falcons are set to train in Thailand early next year.

The Lady Falcons will undergo rigid training in the region’s volleyball powerhouse country from January 6 to 17 with 17 players joining the training camp. The squad will be supervised by coach Lerma Giron and trainer multi-awarded mentor Tai Bundit.

In their two-week camp, Adamson is set to play a series of tune-up games against some of the best Thai collegiate teams as well as a couple of commercial clubs.

UAAP Season 82 volleyball is set to begin in February.

The Lady Falcons had a disappointing Season 81, where they finished last with just two wins in 14 games. That season also saw Adamson part ways with head coach Air Padda and replaced by Onyok Getigan.

With prized recruits in promising setter Louie Romero, Lucille Almonte, Lorene Toring and Rizza Cruz teaming up with sophomore Trisha Genesis under Giron, the Lady Falcons put themselves under the radar as a promising title contender in the UAAP after conquering University of Sto. Tomas in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Collegiate Conference Finals.
