Far Eastern University booked a trip to the Final Four for the seventh year in a row in the recently concluded UAAP 82.

Next year, the Tamaraws want more, much more.

And to do so, they are welcoming with open arms their next generation Abarrientos.

RJ Abarrientos starred for FEU-Diliman for three years from 2016 to 2018, but had to sit out his supposed rookie season for Morayta's Seniors squad.

Now, however, that is over and done with and in UAAP 83, the 5-foot-11 do-it-all guard will re-unite with primetime playmaker L-Jay Gonzales, sharpshooter Xyrus Torres, and energizer Royce Alforque with whom he won a championship back in the Juniors.

Of course, Abarrientos is only excited to give the green and gold a young, yet promising core that knows a thing or two about titles. "Sobrang saya ako kasi nandito na rin sila so sobrang sarap ng feeling na yung nakasama ko nung Jrs., sila ulit makakasama ko," he said.

And come next season, the combo guard knows full well that their familiarity will lead to positive results. "Alam ko na yung laro naming lahat e - konting kindatan lang, alam na. Kaya ang masasabi ko lang sa kanila, dapat gawin namin best namin para mapakita naming gustong-gusto naming bumawi," he said.
