UAAP 82: One last ride with UP was far from sure thing for Carlos

Tots Carlos had been, for quite a while, "50-50" regarding her return to UP, but ultimately decided for one last go-round with the Fighting Maroons
With a video series, the University of the Philippines sent a statement that it will still be a force to reckon with in the oncoming UAAP 82 Women's Volleyball Tournament.
In videos posted three weeks ago, the Fighting Maroons announced that their contending core led by Tots Carlos and Isa Molde will be back for more.
Alongside those two stalwarts, Rem Cailing, Justine Dorog, Maris Layug, and Jessma Ramos will also return for another shot at the championship.
While State U prides itself on collective action, that was apparently no group decision. "Kanya-kanya pa rin kami e. Hindi naman kami yung, 'Uy, balik tayo,'" Carlos shared.
She then continued, "May kanya-kanya kaming reason kaya individual decision pa rin siya."
For her part, the open spiker said she wasn't certain what she will be doing from the very time the maroon and green got locked out of the Final Four last season. "For me, 50-50 talaga ako. Talagang matagal-tagal kong inisip kung anong pwedeng mangyari," she said.
She then continued, "Inisip ko sino makakasama, sino magiging coach, marami akong inisip na magiging rasong okay bumalik and ayun, at the end of the day, nakapag-decide akong babalik ako."
With that, Carlos has but one promise to the faithful over at Diliman. As she put it, "Since last year ko na, I will continue always giving my best effort every game, every training."
