UAAP 82: Ebon's lesson from last year's injury: "Wag mag-puyat"

"Pinaka lesson ko po is wag mag-puyat. Kasi inaamin ko po talaga na puyat ako noon nung before nung game na yun [vs. Adamson]." — FEU's Lycha Ebon.
After her promising start in the UAAP was cut short by a knee injury last season, Far Eastern University's Lycha Ebon is ready to pick up where she left off.
Ebon will finally be available for the Lady Tamaraws in the UAAP Season 82 women's volleyball tournament.
Hurting her knee in a five-set win over Adamson last year, Ebon missed pretty much all of round 2 and FEU's eventual Final Four run.
"Syempre happy ako," Ebon told ABS-CBN Sports about her UAAP return.
"Hindi ko natapos yung last season, ngayon na binigyan ako ng opportunity na maka-laro ulit, grab ko na," she added.
Suffering an injury right in your first UAAP season can be tough, as was the case for Ebon.
But the injury also helped her realize some tough lessons that should help her for the rest of the UAAP career.
"Pinaka lesson ko po is wag mag-puyat," Ebon said. "Kasi inaamin ko po talaga na puyat ako noon nung before nung game na yun [vs. Adamson]."
"Isa din sa lesson ko na pag isinalang ako sa court, ibigay mo na yung best mo, kasi di natin alam yung mga ganung pangyayari," she added.
