FEU opens up Alabang campus gym as RITM extension

Far Eastern University has taken several steps to help fight COVID-19.
Late last week, the school offered its gym in its Alabang campus as an extension of the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).
The RITM, based in Muntinlupa, is the state-run research facility at the forefront of the global pandemic.

With that, FEU-Alabang's court has been sanitized is now ready to be used by its city neighbor.
Along with that, FEU has also pledged 3D-printed face shields for COVID-19 frontliners.
The initiative is being spearheaded by FEU-Tech in cooperation with "3D Printing for a Cause PH."
In it, students taking mechanical engineering are using their very own 3D printers to produce headpieces for face shields. According to the school, it will deliver 40 face shields per day.
