Aljun Melecio has made the most out of all the downtime to get even closer with his family.
The Melecios were already tightknit before the continuing COVID-19 crisis, but being together at home in Bukidnon has only bolstered their bonds.
"In a way, ito yung time naming makapag-bonding kasi ito yung pinakamatagal na nakasama ko sila ever since napunta akong Manila. 'Di kami masyado lumalabas ng bahay ko maraming time na magkakasama talaga," De La Salle University's graduating guard said.
Aljun, kuya Aleck, and younger brother Junjun, currently a Jr. Archer, have all been staying with dad Jun and mom Joy for almost a month now.
And on Easter Sunday, the Green Archers' playmaker gave his family some love by preparing for them do-it-yourself lechon pork belly.
Yes, Melecio himself, along with his older brother and cousin, prepared the sumptuous dish for their lunch.
Apparently, that was his first time doing that. "First time ko ginawa. Naisipan lang namin si tinry namin," he shared.
And in all, it was just another way for them to get together as a family. "Masaya talaga kasi first time. Parang okay naman kinalabasan," he said.
From the looks of it, this lechon pork belly was more than okay.
