Caitlin Viray extends a helping hand in a relief operation for families heavily affected by the enhanced community quarantine due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The University of Sto. Tomas women’s volleyball team standout, her family, beau Kris Roy Guzman of the Golden Spikers and other generous sponsors raised funds to buy and hand out relief goods in Cavite.
Last Sunday, the group, with help from Cavite Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, gave 166 bags of goods to families in Molino 4 in Bacoor who have yet to be reached by the local government unit’s relief operation.
Hi everyone! We are giving out relief goods to people here in Cavite who are not yet reached by the LGU's relief operation. Our first batch was successful and we were able to give 166 bags of goods to the families with the help of PDEA Cavite. pic.twitter.com/OJtgX25Soz— Caitlin Viray ???? (@_KEYTLEEN) April 19, 2020
But there are still a lot of families who need help. So, the group is now planning to raise another P50,000 for their second relief operation.
For donations, you can contact Caitlin Viray through her Twitter account and Facebook or send thru GCash: 09167182612.
Aside from Viray, other UST Tigresses are doing their share in helping out those in need. Sisi Rondina, Eya Laure, Imee Hernandez, Ysa Jimenez are among those who donated their jerseys and shoes in different fundraising auctions for frontliners.
