Nietos at ease during COVID-19 because doctor-mommy is always in

Nieto twins Mike and Matt know, and have always known, full well that health is wealth.
With their parents both doctors, the brothers and their two other siblings have always made sure to be in tip-top shape.
That is even truer in the continuing COVID-19 crisis.
And even when daddy Jet has to go to his once-a-week duty in his clinic, mommy Girlie stays at home with them. "Si mommy ang naghahanda ng lahat ng kinakain namin. Kahit wala pang COVID, yan na talaga ang ginagawa niya for us," Matt shared.
He then continued, "If si daddy, sa basketball court, si mommy naman bahala dito sa bahay."
Of course, if she had her way, Girlie would also want to be on duty even during the enhanced community quarantine. "Gusto na nga ni mommy mag-work, pero delikado pa kasi lalo na dentist siya. Gusto na ni mommy na makatulong sa mga tao kaso may restrictions talaga," her three-time Srs. Champion and one-time Jrs. champion with Ateneo de Manila shared.
Still, the mother of the Nieto household has been doing her part to help out. "Binabawi na lang niya in the best way she can like kasama siyang mag-organize ng mga donations para sa mga tao ng Cainta," Matt said.
At the same time, Girlie, as always, makes sure her children take care of themselves - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. "For us, iwas-panic and anxiety talaga kasi alam naming nandyan lang sila. Alam nila ang mga dapat gagawin para makaiwas sa COVID," the younger of the twins said.
For all of that, the Nietos want nothing more than to express their love and gratitude for their mother. "Thank you sa lahat ng sacrifices na ginagawa niya. Lahat ng little things na ginagawa niya para sa amin, malaking bagay na yun," Matt said.
He also added, "Love na love namin siya. Gagawin din namin lahat para sa kanya."
