Jho Maraguinot's future plans are still not set in stone.
Asked on last Fridays' The Prospects Pod about her next steps after her fifth and final year for Ateneo de Manila University was cut short, she answered, "Honestly, ngayon, wala."
The continuing COVID-19 crisis, at first, suspended UAAP 82 after Maraguinot and the Lady Eagles had already played two games.
And ultimately, the pandemic forced the league to cancel all of Season 82.
"Nung una, in denial ako. As in nung first time na nag-suspend ng games, sabi ko, yung nangyayari, parang hindi ko pinaniniwalaan," she shared. "But then nung na-cancel na yung season, sobrang na-disappoint ako. Doon ko rin nasabing ang dami talagang apektado sa COVID."
With that, the spiker's fifth and final year ended earlier than expected.
Not only that, the unexpected end also put a wrench in the plans she had prepared. "Dapat, after the season ko aayusin (yung next steps), pero yun nga. Yung plano ko after the season, naudlot lahat so ngayon, wala pa. Hindi ko pa alam," she said.
