DLSU Lady Spikers win PNG women's volleyball crown
Mika Reyes was named the best middle blocker during the 2015 Philippine National Games women's volleyball competition.
De La Salle University defeated the College of St. Benilde Lady Blazers, 25-21, 25-15, 25-7, on a rainy Thursday morning as the Lady Spikers ruled the 2015 Philippine National Games women's volleyball competition at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Kim Fajardo scored seven points and was named Most Valuable Player.
Justine Tiu finished with seven markers while Mika Reyes had six for the UAAP runnerup Lady Spikers, who never yielded a set in five matches to bag their first PNG crown.
Meanwhile, University of the Philippines bagged the bronze medal.
Other individual award winners are DLSU's Cyd Demecillo (1st best outside hitter), Justine Tiu (best opposite hitter, Mika Reyes (1st best middle blocker), CSB's Jeanette Panaga (2nd best middle blocker) and Jannine Navarro (2nd best outside hitter) and UP's Princess Gaiser (best libero) and Jewel Lai (best setter).
