The De La Salle Lady Spikers enjoy a day with their fans in their meet and greet event.
Fans and supporters of the UAAP Season 78 women's volleyball champion De La Salle University were treated to a day of fun and surprises Friday in the Lady Spikers’ meet and greet at the Henry Sy Sr. Hall inside their campus in Taft Avenue.
The Lady Spikers, who reclaimed the crown they lost two years ago against archrival Ateneo de Manila University in a thrilling best-of-three series decider almost a month ago, led by outgoing stars Mika Reyes, Cyd Demecillo and Ara Galang showed their love to their fans in the two-hour program hosted by former DLSU captain Aby Marano.
The volleybelles played games with their fans and even serenaded them with a song led by Finals MVP Kim Kianna Dy and skipper Kim Fajardo, who is still mum if she’ll forego or still play next season.
The players were supposed to walk around the hall and greet the fans but was cancelled as the crowd mobbed the Lady Spikers as they went down the stage.
But the incident didn’t dampen the DLSU’s way giving thanks to their fans.
