Top Brazilian pair headlines talent-laden BVR Invitational

Charo Soriano and Bea Tan will have their hands full against top-level competition from Brazil and the United States.
Beach Volleyball Republic is back at it again and this time, some big names from the international scene will see action for the BVR Invitational happening at Anguib Beach in Sta. Ana, Cagayan on June 9-11.
A total of 12 teams will play in BVR's first tournament after its first national championship finished last month.
Stakeholders Charo Soriano and Bea Tan will team up for a dream tandem to represent the Philippines.
BVR on Tour runner-ups Perper Cosas and Dij Rodriguez is the other pair that will carry the coutnry's colors.
The most decorated pair to play for BVR Invitational is the Brazilian tandem of Mimi Amaral and Bruna Figueiredo.
Two-time Sea Games gold medalist Yupa Phokongploy of Thailand will also play and will partner with American Rachel Sherman.
Another powerful pair to watch out for will be Americans Jennifer Snyder and Chara Harris.
Four-time BVR leg champion Alexa Micek will have a new partner for the tournament as she tries to win a title with Leah Hinkey.
Former Brazilian PSL imports Erica Adachi and Rupia Inck also makes a strong case for the title.
The 12 pairs will be divided into four pools of three teams each with Group A being comprised of Amaral and Figueredo, Cosas and Rodriguez, and Singaporean nationals Tan Shang Theng and Ong Wei Yu.
Group B is made up of Snyder and Harris, Soriano and Tan, and Hong Kong players Kong Cheuk Yee and To Wing Tung.
Group C is composed of the pairs of Phokongploy and Sherman, Adachi and Inck, and the second pair from Signapore, Rachel Ting and Eliza Hui.
Group D features the tandem of Micek and Hinkey, New Zealand’s Julia Tilley and Alice Bain, and the second tandem from Hong Kong of Lo Wai Yan and Yueng Yuk Mei.
