Mika Reyes will replace F2 Logistics teammate and outgoing PSL ambassadress Cha Cruz as the face of the league for 2016.
Mika Reyes’ work ethic, intensity and ferocity inside the court made the former De La Salle University star one of the most admired volleyball players in the country today.
Her sweet and charming demeanor outside the court has likewise endeared her to fans.
Thus, it is not surprising that the Philippine Superliga has tapped the 22-year-old middle hitter as its newest ambassadress.
“Of course, I’m so happy and very excited,” said the three-time UAAP champion.
The F2 Logistics player will replace teammate and outgoing PSL ambassadress Cha Cruz as the face of the league for 2016.
Reyes joined the distinguished club of other former PSL ambassadors Richard Gomez and Gretchen Ho.
The proud daughter of Pulilan, Bulacan with her volleyball skills, grace, poise and charm will represent the league in various affairs and activities for this year.
“Nagulat din ako na ako ‘yung pinili nila but I think I will be able to represent the league in my own little ways,” said Reyes, who played a major role in DLSU’s title conquest in UAAP Season 78.
“I may not be the greatest player today but I hope I will be able to inspire people with the sport that I love and its advocacies,” she added.
