Ok lang bawi na lang siya siyempre nandito naman ako eh -- Myla Pablo

To whom does Myla Pablo dedicate her V-League championship victory?
Myla Pablo capped her night with a sweet smile brought by helping Pocari Sweat capture the 13th V-League Season 13 Open Conference title Monday night.
It was extra sweeter as the former National University star was named Finals Most Valuable Player to add to her 2nd Best Outside Spiker award she received three days ago.
Pablo averaged 20 points in the Finals and finished with 23 markers in Game 3 when the Lady Warriors brought Philippine Air Force down on its knees, 29-27, 18-25, 25-21, 25-19, to complete the rookie team’s come-from-behind series win.
“Syempre sobrang saya kasi ayun nga first time namin (Pocari Sweat) sumali sa V-League tapos ito ang kinalabasan nagchampion kami ‘yun nagte-thank you din kami kay God,” said Pablo, who erased the pain of her swan song that saw NU crash out of the Final Four race for the first time in the previous two seasons in the UAAP.
“And sa UAAP, sobrang disappointing for me kasi hindi ko natulungan ang team ko as a team captain diba? Kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko babawi ako sa ibang league pero mas masarap ang UAAP talaga na hindi ka nakapag-Final Four,” she added.
Winning the Finals MVP for her is the icing on the cake.
“Hindi ko iniisip na ako ang magfa-Finals MVP,” she said. “Iniisip ko ‘yung sarili ko na mag-champion lang kami, wala akong pakialam sa award gusto namin mag-champion lang as a team.”
If only she had her inspiration present to witness her triumph.
“Nasa Singapore pa po,” when ABS-CBN Sports asked about her special someone.“Pauwi na sila bukas.”
“Ayun hindi nila nakuha ‘yung championship,” she added.
For those uninitiated, it's NU women’s coach Patrick Aquino.
Unfortunately, his team lost in the gold medal match in the 18th ASEAN University Games last Sunday.
“Ok lang bawi na lang siya, siyempre nandito naman ako eh,” the sweet reply of the blushing Pablo.
