Reyes completes PSL-All Star team Magnificent 7

Mika Reyes of F2 Logistics claims the last golden ticket to the world club stage.
F2 Logistics’ Mika Reyes completed the Magnificent 7 of the local selection that will compose the Philippine Superliga All-Star team set to compete in the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship set at the Mall of Asia Arena from Oct. 18 to 23.
Reyes, a middle blocker that helped De La Salle capture the UAAP Season 78 crown from bitter rival Ateneo de Manila, was awarded the golden ticket by PSL president Ramon Suzara before the Cargo Movers’ rematch against Petron PSL All-Filipino Conference Thursday when the league goes on tour in La Salle-Lipa in Batangas.
The 22-year-old Pulinan, Bulacan native will join Petron’s Frances Molina and libero Jen Reyes, RC Cola-Army’s Rachel Anne Daquis and Jovelyn Gonzaga, Jaja Santiago of Foton and F2 Logistics teammate Kim Fajardo in the selection where seven foreign reinforcements will also be tapped to beef up the roster.
Reyes will team up with Santiago manning the net.
The 5-foot-10 mestiza stunner was earlier named the 2016 PSL ambassadress, a three-time UAAP champion and the 2015 Intercollegiate Most Valuable Player.
Reyes played for Meralco in the 2015 Grand Prix and is now a vital cog in the Cargo Movers’ sizzling campaign in the AFC.
The PSL All-Star team will battle Rexona Ades of Brazil, Volero Zurich of Switzerland, Pomi Casalmaggiore of Italy, Hisamitsu Springs of Japan, Bangkok Glass of Thailand and VakifBank and Eczacibasi VitrA of Turkey.
