Filipina volleyball star Alyssa Valdez will showcase her talents in Chinese-Taipei.
Philippine volleyball star Alyssa Valdez will bring her talents once again in the international stage, this time as an import in Chinese-Taipei.
The former Ateneo de Manila University star confirmed to ex-Lady Eagles teammate and Umagang Kay Ganda host Gretchen Ho on Monday of her scheduled stint with Attack Line in the Chinese-Taipei league that will run from October to December.
Coaches of the Chinese-Taipei U-23 national team showed interest with the two-time UAAP champion and three-time UAAP Most Valuable Player during the Asian U-23 Championship which the country hosted back in 2015 and again pursued to get her services when they met again in the AVC Asian Senior Women’s Championship held in Binan, Laguna a month ago.
This will be Valdez’s second time to play in an international club league after her stint with 3BB Nakornnont in the Thai League last year.
Valdez last played for Creamline in the Premier Volleyball League.
