After taking a mini break, Beach Volleyball Republic is back with a fresh stop for its 2017 tour.
BVR starts its year-end push at Surigao del Sur for a two-day joust on Nov. 17-18 featuring 12 teams in the women's division.
Perlas will have a pair of teams on deck with Bea Tan teamming up with Dzi Gervacio while Amy Ahomiro will play with Gizelle Tan.
Other pairs seeing action are Jane Trinidad and Guen Cabrera of Holy Cross of Davao College, Ildecres Ayad and Vanessa Andoque of Jose Maria College, Dana Me Pingos and Mayla Casinao of Cagayan de Oro, Jojefe Flores and Aimee Laurete of Dipolog, Grace Barrica and Liezel Elcamel of Zamboanga Del Norte, and Cris Asena and Angela Quisado of UM Tagum.
Players from Singapore will also compete with Ong Wei Yu and Eliza Chong Hui Hui making up one team while Tan Shiang Theng will play with BVR regular Amanda Villanueva.
PNP Tagum, with 2017 national champions Karen Quilario and Lourdilyn Catubag, were also supposed to play but had to back out at the last minute. The two teams will be replaced.
Action will start Friday at the Grand Ola Resort.
