National men's volleyball team skipper John Vic De Guzman shows his hops with a slick double-handed slam dunk.
With the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference, still a couple of months away, power-hitting John Vic De Guzman keeps on balling.
The men’s national team skipper showed his leaping ability but this time in a different kind of ball game.
De Guzman, also an actor, during a shoot for a scene in a short film made a slick double-handed slam dunk off a bounce after an own lob.
He didn’t need no double or any adjustment with the hoop, the guy just got hops.
Aside from excelling in volleyball, the former NCAA Most Valuable Player from College of St. Benilde is also regular fixture in barangay cage leagues in his hometown in Calamba City, Laguna.
The PLDT Home Fibr team captain and product endorser this offseason is busy with his showbiz career, shooting a short film set to be released online on August 30 and will be entered in international film fests and a couple of full-length movies expected to be included in the Metro Manila Film Festival.
