Jaja Santiago was limited to single digit scoring as the Saitama Ageo Medics absorbed a 21-25, 22-25, 23-25, defeat at the hands of the Denso Airybees in the Japan Women’s V. Premier League on Saturday.

The Ageo Medics saw their two-game winning streak halted by the Airybees, who picked their first win in two games.

Santiago, who averaged 12 points in her first two games, finished with only seven markers. She posted five kills in 12 attack attempts and landed all of the two aces of Ageo Medics.

Meanwhile, the Toray Arrows recovered from an opening day setback last week with a 25-14, 16-25, 25-23, 25-22 win over the Okayama Seagulls.

The Arrows evened its record to 1-1 but have yet to field in Dindin Santiago-Manabat.
